Bring a picnic and celebrate the first spring weekend Victorian style!
Children can participate in spring crafts, like coloring eggs with natural dyes, and an egg roll. Since 1878, when President and Mrs. Rutherford B. Hays opened the South Lawn, children have gathered for the annual “White House Egg Roll” on the Monday following Easter. Dallas Heritage Village continues the tradition two days early by sponsoring an Easter egg roll in the green, wildflower filled valley located in the center of the Village.
Egg Roll Races: 2 p.m. & 3 p.m.
Hands-Activities & Crafts: 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
