Eagle Scout
Projects
at Old City Park
Old City Park is the perfect location for those pursuing Eagle Scout
public service project. We have a list of site improvements
that need to be completed to further our mission of interpreting north Texas history in
the 19th and early 20th centuries.
Old City
Park expects that Eagle Scouts and groups pursuing projects on our
site will research and procure the necessary donations of supplies
and materials as a portion of their project. They should also plan
to supply their own basic tools. Projects are coordinated through
Hal Simon, Old City Park Curator, who can be reached at 214-413-3666
or via email.

In the summer of 1999 Nathan Langfitt of Troop 876 built
an 1860s cellar house for the farmstead.
