Thanksgiving Day Postcards from the Permanent Collection at Old City Park

This postcard, made in Germany was sent in November 1913.
The feathers on the turkey are real feathers glued to the
postcard. One brother living in Indiana wrote to his brother
in Michigan that "All's well, got a new girl, a peach."

The five postcards above and below, were part of Raphael Tuck & Sons'
Comic Thanksgiving Day postcard series dating from circa.
1909 and 1910. Do we see a common theme here?

1994.2.17 - This postcard, copyrighted 1910 by A.S. Meeker, NY, was
sent to Miss Carrie Manner in Dallas, Texas in November 1910.
