Picnics at the Village


Bring a picnic basket to enjoy under the trees of our beautiful 13 acres or gather your family around one of the picnic tables in Nancy's Garden, inside the Village just past the 1901 Blum House. Dallas Heritage Village has concession items through select food vendors only during special events. Drinks and snack are always available at the Ticket Office.


Tour Options



Self-Guided Tours
Visitors may take a self-paced tour of the 13 acre grounds and beautifully restored 38 historic structures. Printed tour programs are available in the Ticket Office. Docent guided tours of our two premier areas, the Millermore complex and Sullivan, are offered daily at 1:30 PM.

Private Tours
Experience Dallas Heritage Village with your own, private docent-guided, 60- to 90-minute tour of our beautifully restored historic structures. Private tours are $50 for a maximum of 10 people. Advance reservations are required 4 days in advance of your visit by calling 214-413-3674 or email Reservations.
