Village may be the place for you! Where else can you combine the ambiance of a
park setting, a stunning view of the Dallas skyline and Texas history? With 5
rental buildings and several outdoor locations, the party combinations are
endless. Consider a Texas theme birthday in The Main Street Saloon or a 50th
wedding anniversary in the very elegant and newly renovated Park Cities
Heritage House. What about a fun Texas theme baby shower in the Renner School?

You have lots of choices for themed, hands-on parties such as the Texas Ranger
Party, The Pioneer Party, The Pottery Party, The Tipi Party or the Victorian
Tea Party. Whether the kids are making pottery or taking part in an old
fashioned bank robbery, you just can't beat a birthday party at the museum.

Since the closing of the Brent Place Restaurant, Dallas Heritage Village now
reserves the Park Cities Heritage House two days per week for ladies lunch
groups, organizations and clubs. You are able to enjoy the formal dining room,
as well as the new Skyline Dining Room. A rate sheet for meetings and luncheons
can be found at the bottom of the page. Please click on the links below to
download. We also have a special new offering on Sundays for wedding and baby
showers. There's always a Texas size party at Dallas Heritage Village!


Since the closing of the
Brent Place Restaurant, Dallas Heritage Village has created a new offering for
small lunch and tour groups. For groups of 20 or more, we now offer a very
affordable private luncheon space in the Park Cities Heritage House. With 2
sittings from 11:30am-1pm and 1:30-3pm, we are able to accommodate up to 4
private lunch groups on both Wednesdays and Fridays. For $10 per person (min
20) the groups gets admission to the museum, a private dining floor for 1 ½
hours, parking and 10% off gift certificates to shop in the Museum Gift Store.
Your lunch is extra and there are no food and beverage minimums. You can order
box lunches, delivery or fully catered lunch buffets through one of our
approved caterers. Where else can you enjoy a lovely ladies day out with lunch,
for less than $20 per person?


Take advantage of our
1:30pm time slot in the Park Cities Heritage House for a ladies afternoon tea.
We have several caterers on our approved list that can coordinate an authentic
English tea for groups of 20 or more. The top floor of the Park Cities Heritage
House has 2 private dining rooms and with adjoining Park Cities Parlor, can
easily accommodate 30 or more guests. Afterwards, enjoy shopping in our Museum
Store or coordinate your tea after a private tour of the Sullivan and
Millermore homes. Docents for groups of 20 or less are $25 per hour. For more

Rent the entire Park
Cities Heritage House for a luncheon or meeting space from 12-4pm on Mondays,
Tuesdays and Thursdays for only $350. This rate can accommodate up to 75 guests
who have access to all 10 rooms and the winding front porch. This is a very
affordable way to host an association luncheon, mixer or committee meeting. All
guests get admission to the museum, parking and 10% off gift certificates to
shop in the Museum Gift Store. To reserve the house for your next lunch event,
please contact the
Director of Sales.


We now offer both
the Park Cities Heritage House and the Renner School on Sundays (subject to
availability due to museum programs) for baby and bridal showers. For $10 per
person (party minimum of 25), you can have access to either the Park Cities
Heritage House (both floors) or the Renner School (both floors). Guests get
admission to the museum, parking and 10% off gift certificates to shop at the
Museum Store after the gift swapping! Lunch and refreshments are extra and are
available through our list of approved caterers. Your lunch can be fully
catered or just prepared for drop off. Never before, have either of these
facilities been so affordably priced for Sunday afternoon events. Custom
invitations, balloons, tour guides and chalkboard signs are available through
our sales office as rental enhancements to make your party special! Contact

The new Main Street
Saloon is the perfect location for a Texas theme party. No decorations needed!
This period 1901 saloon is adorned with period artifacts, an antique bar, a
funky old piano and a huge stuffed grizzly bear named “Choctaw Jack”! This
intimate space is perfect for a private party of 40 (inside) with the ability
to handle up to 75 with the use of the outside porch and Main Street. If the
party gets even larger, you can rent the Main Street Stage for your band or DJ
for only $250. Dance the night away under the stars with the Dallas skyline as
your back drop. The Main Street Saloon is so unique; your guests will be
talking about the party for weeks. Let Choctaw Jack be your host!


Keep Dallas
Heritage Village in mind when planning your annual holiday party. The Pavilion,
Park Cities Heritage House, Main Street Saloon and Renner School are all
available for rentals. You may want to consider hosting your party during
Candlelight, Dallas Heritage Village’s annual holiday event. By hosting your
“party within a party”, guests will enjoy a magical winter experience under the
stars. Holiday parties book quickly at Dallas Heritage Village. Contact
the Director
of Sales today! This year, we will be offering a limited number
of hospitality tents during Candlelight 2004.


A special
anniversary requires a special location. Treat yourself or your parents to a
milestone anniversary party to remember! Large formal dinners with a band and
dance floor can be accommodated in the Pavilion. An elegant, family dinner is
tastefully done in the Park Cities Heritage House. Consider our Texas Main
Street package for a combination indoor-outdoor dinner event with a tent. For a
silver or gold anniversary, your guests will appreciate the emphasis on Texas
history. Private docents can be hired to tour guests and a surrey can be rented
to take guests around the museum under the stars. Memories are made at Dallas

Dallas Heritage Village has
played host to some of the finest gala fundraisers in the City of Dallas and
some of the sweetest
birthday parties for kids. If you have a special party need,
please don’t hesitate to contact us. We may be able to suggest a facility or
combination of spaces to accommodate your custom requests. Because of our many
rental facilities both large and small, we are able to coordinate events of all
